Meet Brenda and Sarah, the faces behind the
Studio on State Street.

Brenda has been a professional photographer for 18 years and started out as a photojournalist at daily newspapers. After a few years in the news industry, she shifted focus. Today, her business focuses on portraits of all kinds, weddings and she also teaches and mentors other photographers.

Sarah began her journey as a photographer in 2015 and her business is focused on documentary style wedding photography and boudoir.

Somewhere along the way, we became friends (who love to travel together - check out our selfie in the Scottish Highlands from April 2023) and decided to share a studio space. In the spirit of community, we thought opening up our space to other photographers, videographers, content creators and creatives seemed like the next step, and we are so excited to welcome you to the Studio on State Street!
